Holy trinity rugby team:
The holy trinity rugby team is a team that is feared throughout all of Ottawa over the recent four years. The team started to pick up momentum with the class of 2019 being a huge part of the four year winning campaign. The class of 2019 started the junior rugby program and continued it onto the senior level with multiple city championships to show for it. The team started their 2016 season placing 4th in the first season ever, then came 2nd place in the city championships for the 2017 campaign. They then followed back to back City championships in 2018 and 2019. Also in their 2019 campaign they placed 3rd place in sevens rugby with a heartbreaking one point lost in the semi-finals. The team also has an impressive 4-0 tournament record playing schools outside the district, traveling to British Columbia where they slaughtered one of the top schools in Victoria British Columbia, dominating teams in Niagara Falls.

History

The school was initially constructed to relieve overcrowding at St. Paul's located a few kilometres to the east. Because of a construction strike, the school was not ready to open on time, and students had to share the building at St. Paul's for the first two months. Students from St Paul's attended classes in the morning, starting an hour earlier than usual and going until noon. Students that would have been attending Holy Trinity attended classes in the afternoon. By the beginning of November 1990, all work on the new school was complete, and students moved into their new location.
