Hidden Voices is a television mystery music game show broadcast on HTV7.

History

''Season 1'' (2016—17)

Hidden Voices commenced its first broadcast on November 5, 2016. Both and became the victims of picking a solo bad singer each in a duet-performance. It was occurred with the winning streak of five bad singers, and bounced back later with five good singers.

''Season 2'' (2017—18)

New game mechanics such as talent round, which is season-exclusive, was introduced. Former members Jun Phạm, Will Nguyen, and Tronie Ngo were also played separately.

''Season 3'' (2018)

Former 365daband members and also returning Sơn Thạch were also played separately. First season's mystery singer Jang Mi was also played as a guest artist. Panelists Mia Hoàng and Huyền Sâm switched their seats back-and-forth on their respective teams because of disagreement.

''Season 4'' (2019—20)

A "teddy bear" mystery singer was pretending to be bad singer, which refuses to unmask, and then it was later identified as good singer Lương Hoảng Phúc. An episode featuring children as mystery singers featuring guest artists and, was aired on January 4, 2020.

''Season 5'' (2020)

gamer and SBTC eSports streamer Mina Young was appeared. An episode involving celebrities as mystery singers featuring guest artists Vũ Cát Tường and Tóc Tiên, was aired on July 26, 2020.

Production

Development

It was produced by Pixel Factory, Điền Quân Media, and Color Entertainment; while the production staff was commissioned by director Khương Dừa; joined by producer Trần Thế Khương. Episode tapings were took place at the Pixel Factory Studio, Gò Vấp, Ho Chi Minh City.

Suspension

Pre-show auditions for the fifth season was suspended in March 2020, and later reinstated through online in April, as a response to the prevention against COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam. This event was a direct distinction to production suspension on the second season of the ICSYV's Philippine counterpart.

Recognition

After a response to the defunct girl group LiME, who they performed in the South Korean third season, it was decided to create a spin-off program rather than adopting the original I Can See Your Voice. Hidden Voices' game mechanics resemble that of ICSYV, but under the self-invented versus format that would later adopted into ICSYV counterparts.

Gameplay

Format

The guest artist must attempt to guess mystery singers who are "good" and "bad" without hearing them sing. Mystery singers must partake on every round, at which they can receive help and advice from the celebrity panelists.
After eliminating one to two mystery singers in each round, they would perform using real voice at the stage of truth. The last mystery singer standing will do duet-perform by guest artist.
Under the versus format, there are different elimination twists:
The winning condition implies to each mystery singer chosen by guest artist that has been duet-performed separately, if:

The guest artist gets ₫50,000,000 ; or ₫25,000,000 each. Both winning mystery singers also receive ₫10,000,000 each.

There were seven individuals of mystery singers standing on the platform with its aliases to keep their identities concealed until its initial performance.
