Gyarvi Sharif is a Sufi festival celebrated as the anniversary of union of Abdul Qadir Jilani with Allah. It is also called as Fatiha Yazdaham or Fatiha Do Azdaham. Abdul Qadir Jilani is said to be the founder of Sufism in South Asia known as Ghaus e Azam Dastagir Gyarvi Sharif is celebrated annually on 11th Rabiussani or monthly at elventh of every month of Islamic calendar with organizing a religious meetings with cooking and distribution of sacred food or langar. In Britain Gyarvi Sharif is the monthly ritual celebrated at all of the Zinda Pir's and mosques under his religion cults.

In Pakistan Sufi lodges often celebrate Gyarvi Sharif on 11th of every month of Islamic Calendar. It is characterized by feeding the poor villagers or desciple by respected Shuyukhs of Various Khankahs through the Langar system commemorating the Shaikh Jilani. This act of Pirs marked as a symbol of generosity.. There used to be Gyarvi Sharif Mela till 1969 in the Badin of Pakistan
