Guru Balakdas

Guru Balakdas was son of the founder of the Chhattisgarh Satnampanth, Guru Ghasidas. Guru Balakdas' activities aroused the hostility of higher-caste Hindus, and he was murdered by Casteism feudalistic attackers at a rest-house in Aurabandha while travelling to Raipur in 1860.
