Grey-fronted quail-dove

The grey-fronted quail-dove is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. Endemic to the island of Cuba, its natural habitats include subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical swamps, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, and plantations. It is threatened by habitat loss.
It was previously considered a subspecies of the grey-headed quail-dove, which is now split into the grey-fronted quail-dove endemic to Cuba, and the white-fronted quail-dove endemic to Hispaniola.
