Gloucester Guildhall


Gloucester Guildhall is a municipal building in the High Street, Gloucester. It is a Grade II listed building.

History

The site was previously occupied by Sir Thomas Rich's house in Eastgate, the initial home of Sir Thomas Rich's School. The building, which was designed by George H Hunt in the French Renaissance style for Gloucester City Council, was completed in 1892. The ground floor was converted into offices in 1987 and the upper floors were converted into an arts
centre and cinema in 1991.
