Glavny starshina


Glavny starshina is the Russian Navy's second highest rank in the petty officer career group. The rank is equivalent to Starshij sershant in Army and Air Force, and roughly equivalent to OR-7 in the NATO rank system.
The rank was introduced to the Soviet Navy 1940 to 1943.
