Giovanni De Lorenzo - politician and military officer from Italy. He was born on November 29, 1907 in Vizzini and died on April 26, 1973 in Vizzini. He was awarded the Medal of Military Valour, the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
