Gerster is a village in St. Clair County, Missouri, United States. The population was 25 at the 2010 census.

History

Gerster was platted in 1898. and named after the Gerster family, the original owners of the town site. A post office called Gerster was established in 1898, and remained in operation until 1958.

2010 census

As of the census of 2010, there were 25 people, 13 households, and 7 families living in the village. The population density was. There were 22 housing units at an average density of. The racial makeup of the village was 96.0% White and 4.0% African American.

The average household size was 1.92 and the average family size was 2.43.

There were 20 housing units at an average density of 254.0 per square mile. The racial makeup of the town was 80.00% White and 20.00% Native American.
