George Harmon
George F. Harmon was a college basketball player. "one of the all-time greats" in Mercer basketball history. His team was the runner-up to North Carolina in the 1922 SoCon Tournament. He was inducted into the Mercer Hall of Fame. He was a running guard and "sharpshooter". His unorthodox style of dribbling once got fouls called on him. He also played on the football team.
