Geetha Nagabhushan
Geetha Nagabhushan was a noted Indian feminist writer, who at one time held the position of President, 76th All-India Kannada Sahitya Sammelana. She was the author of 27 novels and won the Sahitya Academy award in Kannada for her novel "Baduku" in the year 2004. She was born in the village of Savalagi, in the district of Kalaburagi.
