Freeslave


Freeslave was an English Christian alternative rock band from Hampshire, England, where they formed in 2003 and disbanded in 2007, with lead vocalist, Haydon Spenceley. They released one studio album, Songs for the Dying, and three extended plays, Project Freedom, Remember the Day, and Save My Day.

Background

The band formed in Hampshire, England, during 2003 with their membership being, Haydon Spenceley, lead vocalist and keyboardist, Mark Constance, background vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Dan Henderson, lead guitarist, bassist, Dave Willis, and drummer, Jon Satherley. Their membership would change by the end with their lead guitarist being Aaron Lewis, bassist, Ben Lewis, and drummer Matt Brombley, with going from a quintet to a quartet.

Music history

Their first two released were extended plays, being Project Freedom, in 2003, and, Remember the Day, in 2004. They released a single, "Love Explosion", in 2005, and followed it up with a studio album, Songs for the Dying, during the same year. The final release, an extended play, Save My Day, was released in 2006, shortly before the band disbanded in 2007.
