vanadate mineral

. It was
discovered
as
triclinic
crystals
occurring as
volcanic
sublimates
around
fumaroles
in the
crater
of the
Izalco Volcano
,
El Salvador
.
Associated
minerals
include
thenardite
,
euchlorine
,
stoiberite
,
shcherbinaite
,
ziesite
,
bannermanite
,
chalcocyanite
and
chalcanthite
. The
mineral
also
dissolves
in
water
.
