European Human Rights Advocacy Centre
EHRAC is an independent organization established in 2003 in the United Kingdom. It operates as a human rights NGO based in London, within Middlesex University School of Law.About
EHRAC established its activities in partnership with Memorial Human Rights Centre and supported by the European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights.
In its activities, EHRAC focuses mainly on the European Convention on Human Rights addressing the human rights abuses in different countries by bringing the cases to the European Court of Human Rights. It collaborates with human rights NGOs in Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.
Originally it was based at London Metropolitan University, and in 2013, EHRAC joined Middlesex University and became a part of its School of Law.
EHRAC is directed by Professor Philip Leach.
