There were 333 households of which 30.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.9% were married couplesliving together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 31.5% were non-families. 29.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 2.91. The median age in the city was 44.3 years. 25.8% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.9% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 20.7% were from 25 to 44; 27.9% were from 45 to 64; and 20.9% were 65 years of age or older. The racial makeup of the city was 97.85% White, 0.57% Native American, 0.34% from other races, and 1.24% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.68% of the population. There were 356 households out of which 31.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.6% were married couples living together, 7.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.7% were non-families. 23.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 2.94. Age spread: 25.3% under the age of 18, 5.5% from 18 to 24, 25.6% from 25 to 44, 25.3% from 45 to 64, and 18.2% that were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females, there were 100.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.2 males. The median income for a household in the city was $41,382, and the median income for a family was $51,806. Males had a median income of $36,118 versus $22,604 for females.
