Her first project was November Criminals, a crime drama film based on the book of the same name. Her following projects included the films The Female Brain and Home Again. Olde produces films through her own production company, Black Bicycle Entertainment and in 2017 she was featured in Variety Magazine's Women's Impact Report.
In 2015, Olde created a women's study program at the Ghetto Film School in New York City and Los Angeles, which later opened to young men as well. She is also the founder and CEO of the Erika Film Foundation, which awards an annual grant of $500,000 to one graduating student enrolled in the Ghetto Film School’s IRIS IN program.
