Eric Fitz


Eric Fitz is a production sound mixer and musician. He won the Genie Award for Best Achievement in Overall Sound for Shake Hands with the Devil.
In the 1980s, Eric Fitz performed with Toronto's first industrial band, The Party's Over, according to Nick Smash's book Alone and Gone - The Story of Toronto's Post Punk Underground, a history of the Toronto post punk music scene, released in 2015. The band released the cassette Tissue Sample in 1981, and appeared on the cassette compilation Urban Scorch in 1982. Fitz also played saxophone on the 2016 Polaris Music Prize, 2017 Polaris Music Prize and 2018 Polaris Music Prize Heritage Award nominated album To Sir With Hate by Fifth Column in 1985.
