Eputhou Thangjing
Eputhou Thangjing is the ancient national deity of erstwhile ancient kingdom of Moirang. According to common legend, he is the creator and the ancestor of the people of Moilang dynasty. He is one of the ten directional gods in Manipuri mythology and Sanamahism.
He is the God who is responsible for the seven incarnations of Moirang Kangleirol in ancient kingdom of Moirang.Offerings
During the famous religious festival of Lai Haraoba in the temple premise of the god, generally Khongumelei orchid flowers are offered to the deity. Devotees expect perfect blessing from the deity with the offering of the very flower.- In the fiction novel "The Tales of Kanglei throne", Lord Thangjing is presented as the deity who leads the polo match from southern side.
