Emil Dumitriu
Emil Dumitriu, commonly known as Nichi Dumitru or Dumitriu II, is a Romanian former footballer who played as a forward and made seven appearances for the Romania national team.
Career
Dumitriu made his debut for Romania on 17 June 1964 in a friendly match against Yugoslavia, which finished as a 2–1 win. He went on to make seven appearances, scoring three goals, before making his last appearance on 5 June 1968 in a friendly match against the Netherlands, which finished as a 0–0 draw.Personal life
Dumitriu is the older elder of Dumitru Dumitriu, who also appeared internationally for Romania and played for Rapid București before becoming a manager, and Constantin Dumitriu who won the Romanian championship with Steaua București.Career statistics
