Eleven Sports


Eleven Sports is a multinational group of sports television channels. Based in the United Kingdom, it is owned by Andrea Radrizzani—Chairman of Aser Ventures, a global sports and media investment company.
Eleven Sports has platforms across Europe and Asia including in Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Taiwan, Japan and Myanmar.
It offers a range of live sports across its network with rights for La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, F1, NFL and NBA.
In 2020, Eleven Sports acquired the Belgian football rights,including the Jupiler Pro League until 2025.

Market Overview

Belgium & Luxembourg

Eleven Sports launched in Belgium and Luxembourg in 2015 with a linear and OTT service. Eleven Sports Belgium holds rights to La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, NBA, UFC and NFL, Cage Warriors and Euro Hockey League.

Poland

Eleven Sports launched in Poland in 2015. Its rights portfolio includes Formula One, Serie A, La Liga, and Bundesliga. Polish media company Telewizja Polsat has acquired a 99.9% stake in the Polish feed of Eleven Sports.

Taiwan

Eleven Sports launched in 2016 in Taiwan. Eleven holds rights to the Premier League and NBA, as well as local rights including for the Chinese Professional Baseball League and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Basketball League. Eleven Sports is available on cable, IPTV, satellite and through its own OTT platform.

Italy

Eleven Sports launched in Italy in 2017 with an OTT service specialising in local sports. Football rights include Serie C and Serie D matches. Eleven also established partnerships with S.S.D. Palermo, Foggia and Mantova. Eleven Sports Italy also broadcasts Volleyball Superlega, Water Polo Serie A1, national and international fencing, handball and motorbike racing.

Myanmar

Eleven launched its MY SPORTS platform in Myanmar in 2018. MY SPORTS’ rights portfolio includes domestic football, the Myanmar national football team’s home matches, Serie A, The FA Cup, LFC TV and the Chinese Super League. Games are streamed via social media and linear channels.

UK & Ireland

Eleven Sports launched in the UK in 2018 with broadcast deals to show the USPGA Championships, Serie A, La Liga, Allsvenskan and Chinese Super League. A deal to broadcast UFC was later announced. In January 2019, Eleven Sports dropped its rights to Serie A, UFC and Eredivisie football, passing on the rights to Premier Sports. Eleven was left with La Liga, Segunda Division play-offs, and Copa del Rey rights until at least the end of the 2018–19 season. Eleven Sports lost its Spanish football rights for the 2019–20 season and announced it was now investigating other opportunities in the market.

Portugal

Eleven Sports established a Portugal platform in 2018, with a linear and OTT service. Eleven Sports Portugal holds rights for UEFA Champions League as well as other football rights including La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Jupiler Pro League, Football League Cup, Juventus TV, Manchester City TV, EFL Championship, LFCTV, BarcaTV and SPFL. Other rights include Formula One, Formula Two, Formula Three, NFL, the ATP Tour and World Padel Tour.

Japan

Eleven Sports established a streaming service in Japan in 2019, delivering free coverage of minor league baseball to Japanese fans.
