Edward Winn
Edward Winn was a third-party candidate for President of the United States in the 1984 and 1988 presidential elections, representing the Socialist Equality Party. In 1984 his running mate varied from state to state, being either Helen Halyard or Edward Bergonzi .
Winn had been a sixteen-year member of the party's Central Committee, and an executive board member of the Transport Workers Union Local 100 and played a leading role in the 1980 New York City transit strike.
