Edward Aldrich
Colonel Edward Aldrich was a British Army officer, architect and surveyor who carried out the first detailed survey of Palestine together with Julian Symonds.
He was later assigned to Hong Kong; Aldrich Bay is named after him.
He died at age 57 in Marylebone, London.
