Durham County Sheriff's Office


The Durham County Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated Durham County, North Carolina. The DCSO also provides correctional services for the entire Durham County, North Carolina. The current Sheriff, Clarence Birkhead, was elected in 2018 and is the County's first African American Sheriff to hold office.
