United States Geological Survey
from tellurometer surveys and
Navy

, 1960–62, and named by the
Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names
for
Edgar
L. Doss, a
United States Antarctic Research Program
glaciologist
at
Roosevelt Island
, 1962–63.
