Dos Palos Y is a census-designated place in Merced County, California. It is located east of Los Banos, 4.8 miles north of Dos Palos, the intersection of California Highways 33 and 152, at an elevation of 112 feet. The population was 323 at the 2010 census.

The 2010 United States Census reported that Dos Palos Y had a population of 323. The population density was 205.4 people per square mile. The racial makeup of Dos Palos Y was 225 White, 1 African American, 8 Native American, 1 Asian, 0 Pacific Islander, 82 from other races, and 6 from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 197 persons.
The Census reported that 323 people lived in households, 0 lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 0 were institutionalized.
There were 100 households, out of which 41 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 51 were opposite-sex married couples living together, 17 had a female householder with no husband present, 7 had a male householder with no wife present.
