Dmitry Kupriyanov
Dmitry Kupriyanov - military officer from Soviet Union. He was born on November 26, 1901 in Kargopolsky Uyezd and died on March 3, 1971 in Kiev. He graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, the M.V. Frunze Military Academy. He was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, 2nd class, the Order of Kutuzov, 2nd class, the Order of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner, the Jubilee Medal "XX Years of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army", the Hero of the Soviet Union, the Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the Order of Suvorov, 2nd class, the Medal "For the Defence of Stalingrad".
