Fossils of Didymograptus have been found in Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Iran, Morocco, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Portugal, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Venezuela.
