Dhantala is a village in Ranaghat II CD Block in Ranaghat subdivision of Nadia district in the state of West Bengal, India.

As per the 2011 Census of India, Dhantala had a total population of 9,095, of which 4,730 were males and 4,365 were females. Population below 6 years was 887. The total number of literates in Dhantala was 6,332.
