On May 6, 2019, Shepherd was signed by the Green Bay Packers after being invited to rookie camp. He recorded his first NFL catch, a 1-yard reception from Aaron Rodgers, during a Week 6 win over the Detroit Lions on October 14, 2019. He was waived on October 29 and re-signed to the practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on January 21, 2020.Regular season
