Daniel Constantin (politician)
Daniel Constantin is a Romanian politician, member of PRO Romania.
He has been a Member of Parliament since 2012, co-chairman of the ALDE from 2015 to 2017, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment from January to April, 2017.A 2002 graduate of Bucharest's University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, with a degree in zootechnical engineering, he joined the Conservative Party in 2006, becoming its president in 2010.
In the Victor Ponta cabinet, he served as Agriculture Minister from 2012 to 2015.
In 2017, Daniel Constantin founded together with former Prime Ministers Victor Ponta and Sorin Cimpeanu the Pro Romania Party. He is currently one of the First Vice-Presidents.
