Crimpy
Crimpy was a British manufacturer of potato crisps and packers of "Blue Lagoon" nuts and raisins. It had factories in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire and Winnersh in Wokingham.
The company was later acquired by Frito-Lay of America and both factories subsequently closed down.Locations
The Airdrie site was located in Cairnhill Road.Winnersh
The Winnersh site was located at the Winnersh Crossroads. It was operational between the 1950s and the 1970s. The site later served as the United Kingdom Customer Support headquarters of Hewlett-Packard until the early 1990s but now houses a large Sainsbury's supermarket built in 1997.
