Costen van Halmale
Costen van Halmale was a Mayor of Antwerp.Family
He was the son of Jan van Halmale and Margriet Bacheleer. He married Katharina van Werve.Career
In 1487 he became Mayor of Antwerp. He was the initial author of a history of his family, this document gave other historians an important view in familial and political relations in 16th-century Antwerp. This manuscript is conserved in the Royal Library of Belgium.
