Axel Heiberg Glacier

Queen Maud Mountains
. It was
discovered
by R.
Admiral Byrd
on several plane
flights
to
the Queen
Maud
Mountains
in
November 1929
, and named by him for
Kent Cooper
, an
official
of the
Associated Press
.
