Charles H. Walker
Charles H. Walker was an American lawyer, jurist, and legislator.
Born in Tully, New York, Walker moved to Ohio with his family. He graduated from Western Reserve College. He moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin and then Manitowoc County, Wisconsin to practice law. In 1855–1857, Walker served in the Wisconsin State Assembly. In 1857, he was elected Wisconsin County Judge for Manitowoc County. He resigned to join the United States Army and was commissioned a captain serving in the 21st Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment serving during the American Civil War. He died in Manitowoc Rapids, Wisconsin as a result of strokes.
