end of

, in the
Wilhelm Archipelago
. It was
discovered
by the
French Antarctic Expedition, 1908–10
, and named by
Jean-Baptiste Charcot
for
Monsieur
Charlat, then
French
Vice-Consul
in
Rio de Janeiro
.
