Chardon, California


Chardon is a former settlement Butte County, California, United States. It was located on the railroad between Oroville Junction and East Biggs, west of Oroville. The place was named for Charles Langdon, an early settler. A post office operated at Chardon from 1894 to 1907. In 1897, the townsite and post office were moved southwest from its original site.
