Chad Reiner


Chad Reiner is an American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Welterweight division. A professional competitor since 2005, he has competed for the UFC, Bellator, King of the Cage, Cage Warriors, and Adrenaline MMA.

Mixed martial arts career

Early career

Reiner won his first 12 fights, earning them mostly by submission before losing to Dustin Hazelett, which he followed with an armbar submission win against Victor Moreno.

Ultimate Fighting Championship

Reiner signed with the UFC in 2007. He lost his first two fights with the promotion to Josh Burkman via unanimous decision and to Anthony Johnson
Reiner was released after his loss to Johnson.

Post-UFC

After being released by the UFC, Reiner won his next four fights before going on a three fight losing streak against Dan Hardy, Brandon Wolff and TJ Grant. Reiner went 10–6 in his next sixteen fights before signing with Bellator and losing to Rudy Bears. Since his loss to Bears, Reiner has gone 4–4 in independent promotions.
Also Reiner has competed in various countries such as Quebec, Nova Scotia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Singapore, England, Taiwan, two muay thai fights in Thailand and 3 MMA fights in Hawaii where he once held the X-1 Welterweight belt.
