Centre for Commercial Law Studies
The Centre for Commercial Law Studies is part of the School of Law of Queen Mary University of London. Established in 1980 by Sir Roy Goode, its mission is to develop a body of knowledge and skills in the areas of commercial law —- arbitration, intellectual property, taxation, financial law, banking law, information technology law and European law —- that can be placed at the service of government, public bodies, overseas institutions, the legal profession, industry and commerce. It includes the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute , a centre for research and teaching in the field of intellectual property law, policy and practice.
