Cayetano Badan
Cayetano Badán was a Spanish politician who served as the first administrator of Correo in the territories of the Spanish Louisiana. He also served in
Buenos Aires where he participated in the establishment of the Correo of the Río de la Plata.
He was appointed to the position of Administrator of the General of the Maritime Mail of Louisiana in 1765. Years later he was commissioned as Inspector of the Post and Commerce of Buenos Aires.
