California's 22nd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California. The district is currently represented by.
The 22nd is located in the San Joaquin Valley, comprising parts of Fresno and Tulare counties. The district includes most of eastern Fresno, as well as all of Clovis, Tulare, and Visalia.
Prior to redistricting in 2011, the district covered most of Kern County and parts of San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles counties. The district was anchored by Bakersfield. Most of that district is now split between the 23rd and 24th districts, while most of the territory within the current 22nd was previously in the 21st district.1942
