Brad Adam
Brad Adam is an anchor and host for Root Sports Northwest, and serves as a co-anchor of Mariners Live.Life and career
Adam has been an anchor and reporter with Root Sports Northwest since June 2000. During the Seattle Mariners season, Brad hosts the Mariners Live pre-game and post-game shows. During the rest of the year, he can also be seen on FSN's College Football Northwest and College Hoops Northwest. He has also done play by play for Big Sky conference football, college basketball, high school football and basketball too.
Adam's career did not start in the Northwest; he has held similar positions across the country. He began his career in Grand Junction, Colorado with KJCT in 1994, then moved to Charleston, South Carolina with WCIV-TV in 1995 and to Portland, Oregon with KATU-TV in 1997. During his time in South Carolina, Adam received the Associated Press Award in 1996 for best sports story, a piece about Dale Earnhardt at the Daytona 500.
Raised in Southern California, Adam received a scholarship to Cal Lutheran, where he played Division II basketball. After two years at Cal Lutheran, he then transferred to San Diego State University and graduated in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications and film. On campus, he hosted "Sidelines" and got to interview pro football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk and future Seahawks first round pick Dan McGwire.
An avid golfer, Adam also enjoys snow skiing and sky diving. He lives in Bellevue, Washington with his wife and three daughters.
