Bostryx Bostryx is a genus of air-breathing land snails , terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Bulimulidae .Taxonomy Previously this genus was placed within the Orthalicidae .Bostryx sensu stricto is the type genus of the subfamily Bostrycinae, but some species of Bostryx sensu lato are placed within Bulimulinae.
