Binh Duong New City is built in Binh Duong industry – urban – service complex. This is a civilized and modern urban area and the central district of Binh Duong City in accordance with the plan by 2020. The location was chosen by Provincial Committee, People's Committee and People's Council to be the administrative center of the province. In order to complete the detailed construction planning with the ratio of 1/500 for the new urban area in a modern model, Becamex IDC has invited foreign consultant, Research Institute of Design of the National University of Singapore to deploy. Located in a convenient central location, Binh Duong New City will be the gateway for international connectivity, trade, and services exchanges, as well as exchange and transfer of technology in the highest advanced level of science. The development proposal of Binh Duong New City Project has been approved by the government, including main items: Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City invested by BECAMEX TOKYU, the Integrated Political Administration Center, the high-tech park of Mapletree Group, Eastern International University, International School of Kinderworld Education Group, the commercial, financial and banking center, the area for dining services, senior conference, offices, residential houses provided for more than 125,000 local people and 400,000 people to work regularly there. Binh Duong New City is intended to be a place of gathering and attracting intelligence and developing technology, plays an important role in the planning of the functional divisions, infrastructure, appropriate solutions that meet international standards. This is also significant construction, contributing to the rapid development of the province's urban in the reform period, and meets the needs and expectations of the government and people of Binh Duong Province.
Building project
According to the masterplan, Binh Duong New City will include:
A centralised, administrative centre of Binh Duong, creating a new feature in administrative reform to better serve the people
Public areas, including parks, lakes, cultural centres, schools, and healthcare facilities
Technical infrastructure, including water drainage systems, and underground electricity system, and communication systems
The new urban area will be the Political, Economic, Cultural, and Social centre of the province. A modern, dynamic and sustainable urban centre with all kinds of developments to serve more than 125,000 permanent residents and more than 400,000 workers. To comply with the above plan, Becamex IDC has invested and built a synchronous and modern infrastructure system and public transportation system that will easily connect with neighboring provinces. Becamex IDC has invited domestic and foreign investors with strong financials and experience to invest in support services in the urban area. Upon completion, Binh Duong New City will be the gateway for international trade and service exchange, as well as exchange and transfer of technology in the most advanced level of science. It will be a new city with a modern and eco – friendly architecture, providing residents with the highest – quality services and will be able to attract advanced technology services.
