William "Bill" Cope is an Australian academic, author and educational theorist who is currently a Research Professor in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, He has also been the Managing Director of Common Ground Publishing since 1984. His research interests include theories and practices of pedagogy, cultural and linguistic diversity, and new technologies of representation and communication.
