Benjamin Kigen


Benjamin Kigen is a steeplechase competitor from Kenya. He won the 3000m steeplechase at the 2018 Prefontaine Classic, beating reigning world champion Conseslus Kipruto and Olympic silver medalist Evan Jager with a 57.89 second last lap. He won gold medal at the 2019 African games.
He is from Baringo County, Kenya and he trains with Amos Kirui under coach Isaac Rono.
His personal best is 8:05.12.
