Bear Valley is a former settlement in Nevada County, California. Situated at an elevation of above sea level, it still appeared on maps as of 1902. Bear Valley Campground in the beautiful Northern Sierra Nevada, is a great place to go if you love nature with its few amenities restrooms and tap water, its a place worth visiting to feast your eyes on its beauty. White water paddling and fishing are an excellent activity here if camping may not suit you. Found in moist environments the beautiful Hesperochiron Californicus Benth can be found in Bear Valley.
