Balkan pond turtle


The Balkan terrapin or western Caspian terrapin is a species of terrapin in the family Geoemydidae. It is found in the Balkan Peninsula, a number of Mediterranean islands including Crete, Lesvos and Cyprus, and in the Middle East.
