Ashgabat Flagpole
The Ashgabat Flagpole is a flagpole in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is 133 metres tall, making it the 5th tallest free–standing flagpole in the world. It was erected on 26 June 2008. It has since been surpassed in height by the Panmunjeom flagpole, the National Flagpole, the Dushanbe Flagpole, and since October 2014 the Jeddah Flagpole. Despite the flagpole's height it is not the largest structure in Ashgabat.
