Alpha Trains is a rolling stock leasing company operating in the European Union and EFTA regions of mainland Europe.History
In August 2008, the European assets of Angel Trains, were spun-off into a separate company, Angel Trains International. In January 2010 it was rebranded Alpha Trains.
In December 2019, Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP purchased a 41% shareholding from the Arcus European Infrastructure Fund.Assets
As at December 2019, Alpha Trains owned 363 locomotives and 432 trainsets that were leased to operators in 17 European countries.
