Algerian Civil Defence


Civil Defence, commonly known as "firefighter" is often used in a sense encompassing all civil security service of the population. Civil protection is an emergency service that aims to support the population.

History

Two years after the Algeria independence in 1962, the National Algerian civil protection service is created on the initiative of President Ahmed Ben Bella and Decree number 64-129 of April 15, 1964.
